Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced CT Technologist for a night shift assignment requiring both CT and X-Ray expertise and current ARRT (CT) certification.
Responsibilities
- Work in an acute care setting as part of the CT/X-Ray Tech team
- Perform general CTs, CT angiograms, general X-rays, portable imaging, C-Arm and fluoroscopy procedures
- Patient population includes adults in an acute care environment
- Utilizes EpicCare Inpatient EMR and Synapse equipment
- Night shifts from Sunday to Wednesday, 6:30PM to 5:00AM
- Weekend work is part of the rotation
- Must be able to float between CT and X-Ray within the department
- Candidate must perform both CT and X-Ray exams including portables and fluoroscopy
- Facility uses a 50 mile radius rule—no local travelers accepted within 50 miles
- Applicants who previously worked as perm staff at this facility are not eligible to return as travelers
- Travelers cannot work at any WVU facility for more than one year without a two-year break
- Floor-specific orientation is provided for this assignment
- Holidays are not required for this position
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of CT and X-Ray technologist experience required
- BLS (AHA) certification required
- Active ARRT (CT) certification required
- Valid West Virginia radiography license required if applicable
- Experience starting own IVs required
- Must provide an unexpired driver’s license for consideration
- Radiation badge required (candidate must obtain through agency)
