Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position handling both adult and pediatric patients in rural Northeast Oregon with day shift hours.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Med/Surg department of a modern rural hospital
- Care provided for both adult and pediatric patient populations
- Day shift schedule consisting of three 12-hour shifts per week
- Scheduled every other weekend
- Team environment with two to three other nurses and a full-time Hospitalist physician
- Agency nurses may be floated to other qualified departments prior to core staff
- Position is based in a newly built, modern healthcare facility
- Supportive interdisciplinary team with physician onsite coverage
- Open to both local and travel candidates
- No COVID-19 vaccination requirement specified
Requirements
- Active OR RN license required
- Minimum of three years nursing experience required
- Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS required
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
