The Nuclear Medicine Technologist operates nuclear medicine equipment to assist physicians in performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, ensuring patient preparation and safety. This role requires certification, licensure, and experience in nuclear medicine, along with strong communication and technical skills. The technologist focuses on delivering high-quality patient care within a diverse and inclusive healthcare team environment.
The Nuclear Medicine Technologist I assists physicians in the performance of diagnostic and / or therapeutic procedures by preparing the patient and operating the nuclear medicine equipment in order to obtain diagnostic scans.

What We're Looking For:- Education: 2 Year / Associate Degree, preferred. Graduate of ARRT-approved or NMTCB-recognized Nuclear Medicine Program, required.
- Experience: Minimum of one year of experience in nuclear medicine, preferred.
- Licensure/Certification:
- Certified and registered in Nuclear Medicine by ARRT or NMTCB - RT(N) or CNMT, required.
- IV Credentialed, required.
- Refer to the Life Support Training Policy NH-HR-3096 for life support training requirement, required.
- Applicable state license, required.
- Additional Skills (required): Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing; good communication skills; capable of functioning alone in diagnostic rooms; working knowledge of various types of nuclear medicine equipment, able to adapt to new and various situations and procedures according to age of patient served; has ability to interpret information to identify each patient's requirements for care relative to his / her age-specific needs.
