Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU/CCU RN with a KY or compact license and at least 2 years of recent ICU or MICU experience.

Responsibilities

• Position is in the ICU/CCU/MICU unit of a hospital setting
• Patient assignment is a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Meditech EMR is used on the unit
• Night shift schedule from 19:00 to 07:30
• Weekly schedule alternates between 36 and 48 hours
• Assignment length is 13 weeks
• Bi-weekly orientation is provided to new travelers
• Local candidates within 100 miles are not accepted
• Travel pairs are not allowed unless otherwise specified due to multiple unit needs
• Must provide coverage according to the rotating 36/48 schedule
• First time travelers are welcome to apply

Requirements

• Active KY or compact RN license is required
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in ICU or MICU setting
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale, all AHA only
• Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility to be considered
• Driver's license required for consideration
