American Traveler is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN with a WA or compact license and Epic charting proficiency.
Responsibilities- Work in the Emergency Department of a Critical Access hospital with 25 staffed beds
- Patient ratios are typically 1:3-4 based on acuity
- Assignment is primarily evening to night shifts with start times at 10:00, 12:00, or 19:30
- Rotating weekends are required
- No floating between units within the facility
- No on-call requirement
- Uses Epic EMR system
- Travelers are expected to float between facilities in the state if requested
- Managers work with travelers to ensure shift schedules allow for adequate rest
- First-time travelers are accepted for this position
- Minimal RTO is permitted and must be discussed at time of submittal
- Any color scrubs may be worn
- Active WA RN license or Compact RN license required
- Minimum of 1 year recent Emergency Department experience
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Epic charting experience required
- Two supervisory references covering at least one year in the specialty are required
- SSN and DOB must be provided for consideration
- Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as travelers and must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the facility
