RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Neuro

Job Details:

• Work night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week (will consider 48 hours)
• Weekend hours as needed
• No call requirements
• Patient ratio of 1:5-6
• Minimum 1 year inpatient acute care experience in Med Surg and Neuro required
• Required certifications: BLS and NIHSS
• Float requirements as needed within scope of practice
• Willingness for occasional charge nurse responsibilities (training provided)
• EMR system: EPIC
• FIT test required on site
• Dress code: Black scrubs
• Must be a team player and patient-focused
• Work with neurosurgical patients including stroke, seizures, MS, back/head/spinal and other neurological conditions
• Utilize nursing process to provide patient care and evaluate effectiveness of care
• Coordinate patient care with other departments
• Maintain patient rights and confidentiality
• Standard expectation of working every other full weekend
• Expected to work at least one major winter holiday
