We are seeking an experienced Wound Care Nurse Practitioner for a 72-day locum tenens assignment in Minnesota, beginning Jan 12, 2026. This role offers a flexible weekday schedule (Monday to Friday, any 3-4 days per week) with day shifts from 7am to 4pm. The assignment focuses primarily on providing advanced wound care services within long-term care facilities, with some travel to individual residences.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Travel to long-term care facilities and patient residences to deliver hands-on wound care (approximately 90 percent in LTC settings)
• Utilize advanced wound care techniques, including UltraMist Wands and application of skin grafts (fish skin, placenta, lab-grown)
• Manage wound, ostomy, and continence care for complex cases
• Document patient care and outcomes using the WoundExpert EMR system
• Collaborate with facility staff to ensure continuity and quality of wound care
• Adapt care plans to meet individual patient needs and facility protocols

Additional Information

• Must have current Nurse Practitioner license in Minnesota
• Required certification: Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nursing (WOCN)
• Demonstrated hands-on wound care experience required
• Experience with surgical PAs, wound care, and podiatry highly preferred
• Candidates with advanced wound care experience will be fast tracked
• Familiarity with UltraMist Wands and various skin graft materials is essential
