Job Details:

• Work a varied schedule in the Intensive Care Unit
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care for critically ill patients
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments including physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, and cultural needs
• Formulate and implement individualized plans of care in collaboration with multidisciplinary team
• Provide direct patient care, coordinate care, and supervise healthcare team activities
• Evaluate patient and family response to care and teaching, revising care plans as needed
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in patient records
• Participate in staff education, orientation, and mentoring activities
• Provide direction and supervision to licensed and non-licensed personnel
• Must possess current, valid RN license in state of practice or compact licensure
• BLS certification required
• NIH certification required
• Minimum one year experience in acute care hospital setting required
• Must have worked in acute care setting within past 12 months as RN in specialty area
• Physical demands include standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 75 pounds
• Must demonstrate clinical performance competencies appropriate to ICU setting
• Bachelor's degree and professional certification preferred
