Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a skilled RN for a Neonatal ICU night shift assignment requiring at least one year of NICU experience and a CO or compact RN license.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) with neonatal patient population
- 12-hour night shifts, three shifts per week
- Uses Epic EMR for charting
- May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications
- May be required to be on-call during a regularly scheduled shift
- Perform independent and delegated nursing functions, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of neonatal care
- Responsible for health teaching, counseling, and executing delegated medical functions
- Permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year to be eligible for a travel assignment
- Document in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
- Compliance with health system's mission, vision, values, and service behavior standards is required
Requirements
- Active RN license in Colorado or compact state required at the time of consideration
- Minimum of one year recent experience in the NICU specialty required
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing with ASN required
- AHA BLS certification required and must not expire before start date
- NRP certification required for NICU
- Epic EMR experience required
- No pending licenses at the time of consideration
