Experienced Trauma/Critical Care Nurse Practitioner providing patient rounding, discharges, and emergency department assessments in a fast-paced ICU setting. Collaborates closely with surgeons and advanced practice providers to manage critically ill patients without performing procedures. Position requires active Washington State license, board certification, and trauma or acute care experience in a high-volume hospital environment.
Trauma/Critical Care NP/PA 7 On/7 Off WA Start by Aug 6 No Call No Procedures
Location: Washington State (WA license required)
Start Date: Targeting August 6 (temp privileges possible if all documents returned by 8/4)
Contract Type: 13-week minimum to cover partial maternity leave
Schedule: 7 on / 7 off 7:00 AM 5:00 PM
Call: None
Position Overview:
- Round on 7 10 trauma/critical care patients/day
- Work alongside surgeons + 1 2 APPs on a busy service line
- No procedures or OR assist required pure rounding, discharges, ED assessments
- Physicians handle all procedures
- Fast-paced, collaborative environment
Requirements:
- Board-Certified NP or PA
- Active WA license + DEA (required)
- 2 3 years of trauma or acute care experience preferred
- Able to hit the ground running in a high-volume setting
