This is a Locums or Locums-to-Permanent opportunity with potential long-term placement. The role supports both surgical and cardiac anesthesia services at a Level II trauma hospital.Assignment Details
- Start Date: January 2, 2026
- Coverage Dates: January 2026 - TBD
- Practice Setting: Hospital-based
- Coverage Location: Galloway, NJ 08240
- Reason for Coverage: Open position; recruiting for permanent provider
- Trauma Level: II
- EMR System: Cerner
- Shift options: 8-hour or 12-hour shifts starting at 7:00 AM
- Schedule varies based on surgical caseload and hospital needs
- Includes weekday, night call, and weekend call coverage
- Call schedule and ratio to be determined
- Weekend and night call optional, not required
- Active New Jersey Medical License - Required (must be active at start; no time for licensing)
- Board Certification in Anesthesiology - Required
- ACLS and BLS - Required
- Fellowship in Cardiac Anesthesia - Preferred
- Experience with Cerner EMR - Preferred
- Anesthesia Cases:
- General surgical (adult)
- IV regional, plexus, spinal, and regional anesthesia
- Open heart, thoracic (non-open heart), and complex vascular cases
- Local infiltration and ventilation management
- Line Insertions:
- TEE
- PA catheter
- Arterial line
- Central line
- Supervision:
- Responsible for supervising CRNAs
- Proficiency in open heart, thoracic (non-open heart), and complex vascular cases
- Skilled in TEE, PA catheter, arterial line, and central line insertion
- Prior experience supervising CRNAs
