Job Summary:
We are seeking a full time Pulmonary Medicine Physician board-certified or board-eligible in critical care to join a busy, hospital-based practice in Salem, Virginia.
Qualified candidates:- Must be a lawful permanent resident or legal member of the US
- Must be board certified / board eligible in pulmonary disease
- Must be board certified / board eligible in critical care
- Ability to obtain a VA medical license, and DEA license
- Primarily outpatient position with some inpatient consults
- Utilize dedicated intensivists for ICU coverage
- Interest/training in navigational bronchoscopy and EBUS
- Critical care shifts available if desired
- Teaching available for internal medicine residents if desired
- Every 3rd night call every 3rd weekend call for pulmonary only
