Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of ICU nursing experience or relevant clinical specialty
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (BSN preferred)
• Active Pennsylvania Registered Nurse (RN) License
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Ability to float to various hospital units as needed
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

ICU RN Responsibilities

• Assess, implement, and evaluate care for assigned patients under physician direction
• Utilize the nursing process to individualize patient care in collaboration with patients, families, and the healthcare team
• Direct nursing support staff according to nursing standards and hospital policies
• Maintain current knowledge of nursing principles, theories, and best practices
• Float to Women and Families Hospital and other units as required
• Deliver high-quality, compassionate care in a fast-paced ICU environment
