Responsibilities
Assess, plan, implement and evaluate educational activities planning for an assigned service or population.
- Collaborate with nurse managers and staff to assess learning needs and competencies.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate educational plans/programs and utilizes methods, measurements and tools to evaluate achievement of learning goals.
- Identify and/or develop teaching tools and instructional materials.
- Keep records of educational activities and prepares reports.
Requirements
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Education:
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
Additional Preferences
This position requires to be onsite. Lewiston, New York
Bachelor's degree in Nursing, experience in SNF and NYS required trainings, able to multi-task and instruct others on new policies and procedures
Monday - Friday 7a to 3p/ 8a to 4p,
