Mental Health Counselor

? Location: Yakima, Washington State

? Pay Range: $33.55 – $45.60 per hour
? Sign-On Bonus: $2,000

Position Overview

The Mental Health Counselor delivers comprehensive mental health services through assessments, diagnosis, and therapeutic interventions. This role plays a key part in supporting individuals and families through evidence-based treatment approaches.

This is a safety-sensitive position and requires compliance with Washington State controlled substance testing regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide mental health evaluations and ongoing therapeutic services
• Develop, implement, and update treatment plans
• Maintain compliant and accurate clinical documentation
• Collaborate with clinical teams and external providers
• Respond to crisis situations and mandated reporting needs
• Participate in trainings, meetings, and supervision

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, or Psychology
• Active independent mental health license in Washington State
• 1+ year of clinical experience preferred
• Strong interpersonal, documentation, and clinical judgment skills
