The Hospitalist Physician provides full-time inpatient care at a large, non-profit tertiary teaching hospital in West Virginia. The role involves managing 15 to 20 patients per shift, utilizing electronic medical records, and participating in teaching medical students and residents. We are seeking an experienced full time BC/BE Internal Medicine & Family Medicine physicians to join our expanding Hospitalist Group.
The Hospital is a non-profit, 956-bed, tertiary center with more than 6,500 employees, and has a distinct commitment to the people of southern West Virginia. As the largest teaching hospital in the state of West Virginia, which prepares a variety of health care professionals to care for West Virginians. On any given day, and hosts more than 500 students in programs leading to degrees or certifications in health professions and there are over 150 interns and residents and 100 medical students located on campus.
