Job Details:

• Work 5x8 schedule performing specialized maternal-fetal ultrasound procedures
• Assist radiologists in performing invasive diagnostic techniques specialized to maternal fetal ultrasound processes
• Provide standardization and training to residents regarding ultrasound examinations
• Consult with patients and evaluate contraindications such as medications or patient preparation issues
• Perform essential maternal-fetal ultrasound examinations including detailed anatomical evaluations, complete fetal echocardiograms, growth assessments, and fetal wellbeing studies
• Conduct biophysical profiles, maternal/fetal Doppler studies, and amniotic fluid assessments
• Provide needle procedure guidance and examine maternal pelvic anatomy including transvaginal cervical assessments
• Utilize advanced diagnostic 3D/4D ultrasound techniques
• Conduct ultrasonic diagnostic procedures and record anatomical, pathological, and physiological data for physician interpretation
• Assist supervising physicians with invasive procedures as required
• Analyze sonography findings throughout examinations to ensure comprehensive data collection
• Recognize abnormalities requiring direct radiologist observation during real-time scanning
• Obtain simultaneous imaging and Doppler signals with proper documentation
• Three years of experience performing complex OB/GYN or vascular scans required
• Completion of 12-month Diagnostic Medical Sonography program or equivalent certificate required
• Required certifications: BLS for Healthcare Provider, ARDMS registration in OB and OB GYN
• Preferred certification: Fetal Echocardiography (FE)
