Registered Nurse (RN) - Night Shift
Job DescriptionThe Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for assessing, implementing, and evaluating patient care under the direction of a licensed physician. The RN utilizes their knowledge of nursing principles, theories, and current methods to collaborate with patients, their families, and the healthcare team to provide individualized care. In this role, the RN will direct nursing support staff to ensure adherence to the standards of nursing practice, as well as administrative and departmental policies.
Responsibilities- Assess and implement patient care plans based on individual needs.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of care through ongoing assessment.
- Work collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Direct nursing support staff in the provision of patient care.
- Adhere to nursing practice standards and existing policies.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing is required.
- Bachelor's degree in nursing is preferred.
- 1 year of experience in the area of clinical specialty is preferred.
- PA Registered Nurse License is required.
- Basic Life Support certification is required.
This position involves 12-hour night shifts.
