Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)is the shift for this role. The Job Description: Job Description: The Registered Nurse will provide comprehensive patient-family centered care in accordance with the scope and standards of professional nursing practice addressing both potential and actual health and illness issues for patients and families. Under the supervision of the Nurse Manager/Director has continual opportunity to exercise initiative and independent professional judgment uses the nursing process to provide comprehensive patient centered nursing care for assigned patients and as a primary member of a nursing care team guides and monitors work of paraprofessional and other team members. This care is performed as a part of a customer focused service-oriented team that incorporates the values of Mills Peninsula Health Services in a confidential environment. Requirements: - CA RN Licensure - BLS AHA - ACLS - NIH Certification - 5 years of recent experience in Telemetry unit *post-PCI patient care and Charge Nurse experience preferred* - EPIC charting and Pyxis Med system experience necessary - Applicant must be amenable to preceptorship if needed - Applicant must be amenable to take care of Med-Surg and/or Telemetry patients in the Overflow unit or in the Emergency Department if needed. - Applicants must be amenable to float to Med-Surg or Telemetry regions. Shift: 3 x 12 Days 0700-1930 may need to work consecutive weekends if there is a need. No on-call requirement. No block scheduling. Cancellations will be done in 4-hour blocks when necessary. Depending on Hospital needs may need to work AM/NOC shifts with appropriate notification from Staffer. Shift Info: Night 3x12-Hour 19:00 - 07:30
