- Clinic Coverage:
- 8-hour day shifts from Monday through Friday, providing comprehensive care to pediatric endocrinology patients.
- Manage routine and follow-up consultations, ensuring the highest quality of care.
- Call Coverage:
- 24-hour call coverage from Monday through Sunday.
- Call duties are primarily phone-based, including handling "mommy clinic" calls and hospital/ER phone consultations.
- On-site visits are required only for new diabetic consults, typically involving a single visit during a 48-hour admission to meet with the family and arrange follow-up care.

- Must be licensed in North Carolina.
- Certifications:
- Board Certification: Required in Pediatric Endocrinology.
- DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration) certification is mandatory.
- Experience:
- Extensive experience in pediatric endocrinology, particularly in managing diabetic patients and other endocrine disorders.
- Ability to provide expert phone consultation and manage inpatient cases with the support of hospitalists.
- Support Staff:
- You will work with a dedicated team, including 1 RN, 1 LPN, 1 MA, and 1 referral coordinator/scheduler, as well as centralized registration staff.
- Flexible Scheduling:
- This position offers a structured yet flexible work schedule, allowing you to balance professional responsibilities with personal time.
- Immediate Start:
