We are seeking a Hospitalist Physician Assistant for a locum tenens assignment in Wyoming, starting Feb 23, 2026. This is a 42-day contract with 7-14 day shifts per month, featuring 7a-7p hours and a rotating 7 on/7 off schedule. The client is focused on finding the right long-term fit for their acute care and ICU needs.

- Schedule: 7-14 shifts per month, day shifts 7a-7p, rotations begin Monday and end Sunday, 7 on/7 off
Responsibilities and Duties
- Collaborate with the Emergency Department for patient care
- ER manages Code Blue and code procedures
- Work with ER for airway emergencies
- Provide care in an open ICU
- Accept and manage trauma admissions
- Support a dedicated COVID wing and COVID team
- Coordinate with Nephrology (outpatient and consult), Tele-ICU (Intensivists), Tele Psychiatry, Radiology, and Nighthawk services
- Manage vent cases, central lines, and intubations
- Ship advanced heart failure cases as required
- APPs support Attending Hospitalist throughout shifts
Additional Information
- Inpatient and acute care experience required
- Experience with Cerner EMR preferred
- Must be licensed to practice as a Physician Assistant in Wyoming
- The client is seeking a provider interested in a long-term fit for their acute and ICU services
