Flexible call-only locum with C-section attendance and nursery rounds. Locum Pediatrician — inpatient call coverage in Virginia. On-call for admissions, ED consults, C-section attendance for newborn care; daily nursery and inpatient rounds as needed. Shift: call-only schedule. Contract: locum/temporary (contact for length). - Current PALS and NRP certifications - Pediatric MD/DO license eligible in Virginia - Experience in newborn resuscitation and inpatient pediatrics - Comfortable with ED consults and C-section attendance

Seeking a Pediatrician to join an inpatient practice in Virginia. The physician will be on-call for the hospital for pediatric admissions and for consults in the ED, if needed. The hospital requires the baby doctor to attend C-sections to care for infant, so on call to attend C-sections. Round daily in the nursery and on peds that have been admitted and discharged as needed. The provider must have current certifications in PALS and NRP. Call only.
