JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Licenses: Active Pennsylvania license required
- Board: Board Certified CRNA
- DEA: Not required
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPR, PALS
- Experience: Obstetrics experience required (C-sections and spinals)
- Other Qualifications: Will also consider providers already credentialed at other UPMC sites
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide anesthesia coverage across main OR, surgery center, and L&D (approx. 80% OR, 15% surgery, 5% L&D)
- Perform spinals, intubations, MAC, GA, and other anesthesia procedures
- Support elective surgical schedule and assist with overflow and emergent procedures as needed
- Collaborate with supervising physicians and anesthesia team in a medically directed model
- Maintain accurate documentation in Epic EMR
