Assignment Details- Start: January 1, 2026
- End: August 31, 2026
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
- Weekend coverage: 1 weekend per month, 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m. (30-minute unpaid lunch)
- Coverage type: Inpatient only, no call and no nights
- Setting: Adult inpatient psychiatry
- Patients per shift: Approximately 16-18
- Unit size: 74 inpatient beds

Clinical Details- Inpatient psychiatric care for adult patients
- Diagnostic focus includes anxiety disorders, affective disorders, ADD/ADHD, personality disorders, eating disorders, developmental disorders, psychotic disorders, and organic disorders
- Treatment responsibilities include pharmacotherapy and management of seclusion and restraint per hospital policy
- Familiarity required with involuntary commitments, seclusion therapy, and restraint application
- No requirement for group therapy, family therapy, or ECT (ECT experience preferred but not required)
- Rounding on assigned patients only
Requirements- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry; if Board Eligible, must obtain certification within 5 years of residency completion
- Active Missouri license or active IMLC
- BLS required
- Inpatient psychiatry experience required
- Epic experience required
- Availability for roughly 20-22 shifts per month January through August 2026
- Local candidates preferred (no explicit local-only requirement)
