Med/Surg Telemetry RN Job Details

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New Jersey
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in a Med/Surg Telemetry or acute care setting
• BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
• Strong clinical assessment and patient monitoring skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Med/Surg Telemetry RN Responsibilities

• Provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care to patients in the medical-surgical telemetry unit
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions, vital signs, and responses to treatment
• Administer medications and perform clinical interventions as ordered by healthcare providers
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families on care plans, procedures, and discharge instructions
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records (EMR)
