RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:
• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week contract assignment
• Work every other weekend
• No call requirements
• Patient ratios: 1:4 for core patients, 1:6 for fast track
• Work with 41-bed emergency department
• Night shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 1 trauma nurse, 1 unit clerk, and 9 RNs
• Mixed paramedic/tech/RN mid shifts
• Use Meditech electronic medical record system
• Special equipment training provided during orientation
• Dress code requires royal blue scrubs and closed-toed shoes (no Crocs with holes)
• Required certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS, TNCC, ENPC, CPI (CPI within 6 weeks of onboarding)
• Texas or Compact RN license required
• Must have emergency department nursing experience

The facility maintains a well-staffed emergency department with 90 total staff members and offers extensive support with specialized equipment and training. The department follows established protocols for trauma care and emergency services, ensuring high-quality patient care around the clock.
