A well-established multi-specialty group in southwestern North Dakota is seeking Primary Care physicians to provide both inpatient and outpatient services. Physicians will work in a supportive setting, sharing call schedules and collaborating with a family medicine residency program and medical students. This well-respected group is seeking Primary Care physicians to provide a mix of inpatient and outpatient services in southwestern North Dakota near Hettinger with easy access to South Dakota. Please read below for details and refer to Job ID# 49100

Job Details:

Excellent opportunity to practice a personalized style of patient care in a supportive atmosphere.
Join 11 physicians in a multispecialty environment, 3 physicians needed due to growth
Family Practice physician, Internal Medicine Physician
Family Practice w/ OB Physician OR Internal Medicine w/ PEDS
Clinic schedule: M-F 8am-5pm w/ a half day of an administrative block for paperwork/charting
Traditional practice setting - physicians rotate the call schedule, but many times end up seeing their own patients in the hospital
Call Schedule: Rotating call, currently 1-5. As physicians are added that goes down. Also, it is rare when a physician is on first-call, or on-call alone. There is a family medicine residency in place that takes call, as well as mid-levels and a contract FP who fills the gaps.
Patient census: Busy day in the clinic is 15 patients. A normal day looks to be around 10. Hospital has a daily average census of 6 (Inpt, Swb, Obs), and the ER averages 4 visits per day.
EMR: All scripts in the clinic, Meditech magic in the hospital. Converting to Epic in the next year.
Partner with UND School of Medicine to train Rural Medicine Residents as well as 3rd and 4th-year medical students
Board Certified or eligible
IF Family practice w/ OB- C-Sections are required
