The role involves performing general neurosurgery, clinic hours, and call duties, supported by a multidisciplinary team in a well-recognized hospital known for patient safety and specialty care. St. Joseph s Regional Medical Center is actively recruiting a Neurosurgeon to join our established team. As a 145-bed general acute care hospital, we are the largest full-service regional medical center between Boise, Idaho, and Spokane, Washington. With a Level III Trauma Center and more than 100 board certified physicians and providers in both primary care and specialty disciplines, we deliver advanced-level specialty healthcare to ensure every patient, and their loved ones, have everything they need to feel comforted, every step of their journey.
About the position:
- Clinic Hours: Monday - Friday
- General Schedule- days per week 36 patient contact hours, 4 hours admin
- Call:10 days per month
- Average patients/day in clinic 10-12
- Department staff -# of providers and support:1 MD, 1 RN, 1 MA , Reception
- Clinic days per week: 2-3
- OR days per week: 2
Qualifications:
- BE/BC in Neurosurgery
- ACGME-accredited Neurosurgery residency (may be in progress for early commitment)
- Ability to obtain a medical professional license in the State of ID and DEA with full prescriptive authority
- Must be willing and able to perform general neurosurgery
