RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Seasonal travel nursing position on Medical Surgical Orthopedic unit
• Maintain 1:5 nursing ratio with 5 patients per nurse
• Must have independent experience taking 5 patients
• Surgical unit experience required - candidates without this will not be considered
• Pain management experience preferred
• Orthopedic experience preferred
• Perform typical procedures including dressing changes and aspiration
• Work with EMR system Meditech
• Must demonstrate positive attitude and be a team player
• Work on 20-bed orthopedic unit located on 9 South floor
• Care for diverse patient population including elective orthopedic patients and orthopedic trauma patients
• Night shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse and 4 nurses
