Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a seasonal Ortho Med/Surg night shift position in Virginia requiring an active VA or compact RN license and at least one year of recent specialty experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in an orthopedic medical-surgical unit within a hospital setting
• Night shift position from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week seasonal contract assignment
• Patient population includes acute orthopedic cases
• Duties focus on providing care to post-surgical orthopedic patients
• Must provide copies of all required certifications upon request
• Compliance with hospital policies and documentation standards is expected
• Seasonal positions may have additional orientation or training as needed

Requirements

• Active VA or compact RN license required
• Minimum of one year recent orthopedic or Med/Surg nursing experience
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or ARC required
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• U.S. Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
