A locum tenens opportunity is available at an outpatient clinic and surgery center for a skilled Urologist to contribute their expertise in both clinical and surgical settings. This role entails clinic responsibilities two days a week and surgery for three days, with no call coverage. The ideal candidate will be a strong proceduralist, equipped to manage a high volume of patient interactions each shift, supported by an experienced APP. The position offers a Monday to Friday schedule with a break for lunch, allowing for a structured work-life balance.

Job Responsibilities- Perform general and advanced urology procedures, including but not limited to laparoscopic surgeries, ureteroscopy, radical cystectomy, prostatectomy, nephrectomy, and robotic surgeries.- Engage in outpatient clinical duties and surgical procedures.- Collaborate with a dedicated team, including an experienced APP, in delivering high-quality care.- Document patient contact hours efficiently.
Qualifications- Active Arizona medical license- Board Certification in Urology- Strong procedural skills and a clean professional history- Required ACLS certification
Working Hours- Days: Monday to Friday- Daily schedule: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, including an unpaid hour lunch
Skills- Proficiency in advanced endoscopic techniques and extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy- Competence in performing pelvic node dissections, partial nephrectomies/intraoperative ultrasound, and incontinence procedures- Ability to work autonomously and manage time effectively- Strong interpersonal skills for patient and team interaction
