Advanced Practice Provider Cardiology Ocala, FL AdventHealth Medical Group West Florida
About the Role:
Join our growing cardiology team in Ocala as an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP), delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in an outpatient setting. You ll work closely with cardiologists to manage chronic conditions, perform diagnostic evaluations, and support procedural care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient assessments, develop care plans, and manage treatment in collaboration with supervising cardiologists
- Interpret EKGs, manage anticoagulation therapy, and adjust pacemaker settings
- Assist with or independently perform minor in-office procedures
- Supervise and interpret nuclear and treadmill stress tests
- Educate patients on wellness, prevention, and chronic disease management
- Maintain accurate documentation and support continuity of care
- Participate in call coverage as needed
Qualifications:
- Education: MSN required
- Experience: Minimum 3 years as an RN in cardiology
- Licensure:
- Florida ARNP license
- ARNP certification
- AHA ACLS certification
- Ongoing CE to maintain licensure
