Facility: East Cooper Medical Center

Location: Mount Pleasant, SC

Department: Operating Room

Position Type: PRN Days 

Work Schedule: 4-10 hour shifts

What We're Looking For:

    • Current, unrestricted RN license in the State of South Carolina

    • Current BCLS certification

    • Completion of nursing service orientation program

    • Attendance at IV Therapy training or demonstration of IV competency within one year

    • Annual participation in Skills Fair and completion of all required competencies

    • Ability to assume the Charge Nurse role when needed

    • Maintains department-specific certifications and competencies

    • Previous hospital experience

    • Advanced certification in specialty area

    • Membership in a professional nursing organization

What You'll Do:

Position Summary

Under the supervision of the Department Director and/or Charge Nurse, the Registered Nurse (RN) delivers safe, effective, and patient-centered care to a diverse population ranging from infant to geriatric. This role is ideal for a motivated nurse who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and is committed to providing quality care.

 

Key responsibilities include:

    • Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care of assigned patients

    • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to meet unit and hospital goals

    • Providing care in alignment with clinical standards and departmental guidelines

    • Willingness to float to other comparable nursing units, as needed
