Small IHS hospital in rural Alaska is seeking a locums Optometrist. This assignment is for 6 weeks with the possibility of extension. No AK license is required.

Duties will be to provide outpatient care for eye related disorders and conditions; conduct routine eye exams including field of vision tests; prescribe corrective lenses when required; determine a patient's visual acuity, field of vision and hand-eye coordination.

Hours are Monday-Friday from 8am to 5pm. Expected patient load is 6-10 patients per day. All travel and lodging is provided.
