Position Details:
- Specialty: Emergency Medicine (MD ABEM)
- Location: Mercy Hospital Ada, OK
- Start Date: ASAP
- Duration: Ongoing
- Schedule: 5 or more shifts per month (mix of days and nights)
- Shifts: 6a-6p, 11a-11p, 6p-6a
- Patient Volume: Approximately 20-25 patients per day; annual volume of 30,000
- EMR System: Epic
- Certifications Required: BC, ACLS, BLS, PALS
- Experience: 2 years recent experience preferred
- State Licensure: Accepting candidates licensed in Oklahoma or willing to apply
- Type of Need: Locums (Vacancy due to FTE Increase)
Additional Information:
- Mercy Hospital Ada is a Level 3 Trauma center.
- Board certification in Emergency Medicine (not Family Medicine or Internal Medicine) is required.
- Life support certifications are necessary.
- Admission rate: 15% for both adults and pediatric patients.
- ED beds: 12 in Ada.
- No backup required.
