ICU RN Job Details- Location: Glens Falls, NY 12801
- Assignment Type: Travel nursing contract
- Start Date: January 5, 2026
- End Date: April 6, 2026
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: 12-hour nights (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)
- Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1990 - $2130
- Unit: 16-bed ICU with overflow capacity
- Schedule: Every other weekend and holiday; no on-call required
- Minimum 4 years of nursing experience, including at least 2.5 years in Critical Care/ICU settings
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications
- EPIC charting experience required; Cerner EHR experience preferred
- De-escalation training (Welle, CPI, or PMCS) required (training resources available)
- Ability to float to Medical/Surgical and Telemetry units (max 4 patients)
- Travel nursing experience preferred
- Flu vaccination required (religious/medical documentation accepted)
- Not eligible if worked at this facility in the past year or within AMC network in past six months
- Deliver high-quality, compassionate critical care to adult and geriatric patients in a fast-paced ICU setting
- Monitor and manage invasive pressure, cardiac, and oximetry equipment
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Float to Medical/Surgical and Telemetry units as needed
- Participate in de-escalation and crisis intervention procedures
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation using EPIC and Cerner EHR systems
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Adhere to hospital policies, including shift cancellation (up to 5 shifts per contract) and vaccination requirements
