Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

Cath Lab Technologist - Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts
• On-call requirement: every other weekend Friday 4:00 PM to Monday 5:59 AM
• Potential to float to Interventional Radiology (IR)
• Prepare catheterization laboratory and operate essential equipment including fluoro imaging and digital image acquisition
• Document patient information and hemodynamic measurements accurately
• Maintain stringent aseptic technique and patient safety standards
• Collaborate with medical team to optimize patient care and departmental efficiency
• Serve as radiation safety representative during X-ray usage
• Operate specialized cath lab equipment including imaging systems, contrast injectors, hemodynamic systems, and various cardiac devices
• Support physicians during procedures and ensure appropriate patient positioning
• Participate in daily room checks and supply stocking
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (AHA only)
• Preferred certifications include RCIS, RCES, RCS, or various ARRT certifications
• Graduate from accredited Radiology Technology school or associate's degree in healthcare-related field required
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• 0-1 year experience in acute care setting preferred
• New Mexico state licensure required (RRT or FUS by MIRTP NMED)
