As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. This role requires both armed responsibilities and driving as you respond to situations and interact with the public. You will deliver exceptional customer service and communication while upholding our values of teamwork, reliability, and integrity in every interaction.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the assigned government location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or access.
• Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activities, hazards, or conditions to the appropriate personnel.
• Interact with visitors, employees, and/or contractors in a courteous manner, providing assistance as needed while upholding security-related protocols.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs and reports of patrols, incidents, and any other security-related activities as required by Allied Universal and site policies.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and/or emergency responders as needed in accordance with site procedures and protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
