We are seeking a Permanent Neonatologist in Kansas.

Shift: Combination of 8 and 24-hour shifts on a 7-week rotating schedule

• Patient Population: Neonates

• Setting: Level-III NICU (36 beds)

• Responsibilities:

  • Provide in-house and backup call from home

  • Manage high-frequency ventilation, inhaled nitric oxide therapy, total body cooling, and aEEG

  • Collaborate with pediatric subspecialists in cardiology, neurology, general surgery, and endocrinology

• Required Procedures: Neonatal critical care, ventilator management, and specialized therapies

• EMR System: TBD

• Support Staff: 5-physician team with pediatric subspecialty support

• Days Per Month: Approximately 170 hours per month

• On-Call/Weekends: In-house and backup call from home

• Board Certified in Pediatrics - REQUIRED

• Board Eligible (within 5 years of fellowship) or Board Certified in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine - REQUIRED

• Kansas license (or willing to obtain) - REQUIRED

• Fellowship-trained in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine (to be completed prior to start) - REQUIRED

• Clean malpractice and license history - HIGHLY PREFERRED

• Visa support (J1 or H1B) - REQUIRED
