A Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) provides general anesthesia and specialized anesthesia procedures in a Level II trauma center. The role involves managing anesthesia care for diverse patient populations including pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics with minimal supervision. The CRNA works collaboratively with physicians and other CRNAs, utilizing Cerner EMR and performing various anesthesia techniques such as nerve blocks and epidurals.

Schedule: 4x10s preferred; 8s may be considered. No call required.
Call required: Not expected, but optional if provider is interested (Call begins 7pm on weeknights and Saturdays)
Setting: Level II Trauma Center
Supervision Model: CRNAs not supervised
Patient Population: Pediatrics (ages 4+), Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics
Procedures: General anesthesia, OB, endo/bronch, nerve blocks, epidurals, and arterial lines

Support Staff: 8 Physicians & 30+ CRNAs
