The Internal Medicine - Critical Care Physician will provide overnight inpatient care at a Level III Trauma and Stroke-Certified facility, managing a high-acuity patient load during 12-hour nocturnist shifts. This role requires board certification in Critical Care and proficiency in invasive ventilation and critical procedures such as central line and arterial line insertion. The position offers RN support in a non-teaching environment with coverage from November 2025 to February 2026 at Deaconess Medical Center in Spokane, WA.

Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours Only
Shift Structure: 12-hour Nocturnist shifts (6:00 PM 6:00 AM)
Schedule: Two weeks per month
Dates: November 1, 2025 February 28, 2026
Reason for Coverage: Maternity/Paternity leave
Practice Setting: Inpatient only
Patient Volume: 12+ patients per shift
Rounding: Assigned patients

Board Certification: Required (Critical Care)
Licensure: Active WA license or IMLC eligibility
Certifications: ACLS & BLS required (ABLS, ATLS, PALS not required)
