The Neonatal - Perinatal Medicine Physician provides specialized care to critically ill newborns in Level II and Level III NICU settings, utilizing advanced neonatal technologies. The role involves collaboration with pediatric subspecialists, leading educational initiatives, and participating in quality improvement projects. Dignity Health St. Rose Dominican Hospitals is excited to invite a Board Certified/Board Eligible Neonatologist to become a vital part of our dedicated and collaborative team. We operate in a state-of-the-art Level II and Level III NICU environment, located in the vibrant and family-friendly community of Henderson, Nevada. Our facilities include:
- St. Rose Siena Campus: 26-bed, Level III NICU with an average daily census of 22.
- St. Rose San Martin Campus: 6-bed Level II NICU with an average daily census of 3, providing a more intimate care setting.
- Provide high-quality clinical care to newborns in both NICU settings.
- Utilize advanced neonatal technologies such as body cooling, jet ventilation, and inhaled nitric oxide (iNO).
- Collaborate with pediatric subspecialists to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Lead and participate in teaching initiatives and quality improvement projects.
- Work with a highly skilled nursing team and ancillary staff in a supportive environment.
- Engage in flexible scheduling to promote a healthy work/life balance.
- Serve a rapidly growing community, offering lifestyle and recreational opportunities.
- Board Eligible (within 5 years of eligibility) or Board Certified in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine.
- Valid Nevada medical license or willingness to obtain one.
- Clean malpractice and license history is highly preferred.
- Experience level is open to both experienced neonatologists and recent graduates who meet certification requirements.
- Copy of the most recent NPDB Report (within 30 to 60 days active) is required.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine.
- Valid medical license in Nevada or willingness to obtain.
