CVICU Travel Nurse Job Details

• Location: Glendale, AZ 85306 (Arizona healthcare job)
• Unit: Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU)
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 10/6/2025 – End: 1/5/2026)
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1880 - $2020
• Hours per Week: 36 (Guaranteed: 24 hours per week)
• Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse
• On-call & Weekend Schedule: Determined by facility

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent CVICU nursing experience (required)
• Active Arizona RN license in good standing (no license hits)
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
• Flu vaccination status required (declinations may be considered)
• Travel nursing experience preferred
• Ability to provide a completed skills checklist (within 1 year), detailed resume, and recent RN license verification
• Candidates with an Arizona home address on their driver's license are not eligible

CVICU Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate patient care in the CVICU
• Monitor and manage complex cardiovascular and post-operative conditions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Administer medications, perform patient assessments, and respond to medical emergencies
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to compliance standards
• Participate in on-call and weekend rotations as scheduled
