The Locum Tenens Physician Electrophysiology position involves performing hospital consultations and electrophysiology procedures, including left-sided cardiac ablations and moderate sedation. The role requires proficiency with the Abbott Ensite-X Mapping system, experience using the Cerner EMR, and conducting transesophageal echocardiograms as necessary. Candidates must be board certified or eligible, have an active Arizona medical license, and demonstrate recent procedural experience with a minimum of 100 EP cases in the last two years.

Position Details:
Patient Population: Adult
Setting: Hospital / In-Office Clinic
Responsibilities:
- Perform hospital consults (3 4 per day) and EP cases (4 6 per day depending on case length)
- Conduct left-sided ablations
- Comfortable performing moderate sedation independently
- Use Abbott Ensite-X Mapping system and perform TEEs as required
Required Procedures: Cardiac electrophysiology procedures, including ablations
EMR System: Cerner
Support Staff: Unknown
Days Per Month: As scheduled in blocks listed above
On-Call/Weekends: No call
Additional Requirements:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Electrophysiology
- Active AZ license or IMLC accepted
- DEA license required
- ACLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of experience
- Must have performed 100 EP cases in last 2 years, with emphasis on ablations
