A respected hospital system in Northern Michigan located about an hour south of Traverse City is seeking experienced Hospitalist Physicians (MD/DO) for ongoing locum tenens coverage. This position offers a diverse clinical experience across multiple facilities, with both day and night shifts available.

• Cross-credentialing at three hospital sites, all within approximately an hour radius

• Schedule: Day and night shifts available (must be willing to cover both)

• EMR: Cerner

• Trauma Level: Not designated

• Hospital Beds: 49

• Average Daily Census: 42

• ICU: Open (6 ICU beds)

• ICU Coverage: Hospital Medicine team

• Step-Down Unit: Managed by Hospital Medicine

• Code & Rapid Response: Hospital Medicine coverage

• MD/DO Must Do Procedures: Central lines, intubations, arterial lines

General Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, and Nephrology available on-site

• Board Certified MD/DO with active Michigan medical license

• Michigan DEA and CSR in hand (required prior to presentation)

• Must be comfortable performing required procedures

• Must be willing to cross-credential and work across all three facilities

• Fully licensed candidates only no pending licenses accepted
