Job Title: OB-GYN Hospitalist (MD/DO)
Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated OB-GYN Hospitalist to provide comprehensive inpatient obstetric and gynecologic care. The OB-GYN Hospitalist will manage high-risk and routine cases, collaborating closely with hospital staff, obstetricians, and other specialists to ensure safe, patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide inpatient obstetric and gynecologic care, including labor and delivery management, postpartum care, and gynecologic procedures.
Evaluate and manage patients with obstetric complications, high-risk pregnancies, and gynecologic emergencies.
Perform deliveries, including cesarean sections and operative vaginal deliveries, as required.
Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
Respond to obstetric and gynecologic emergencies in a timely manner.
Document patient care accurately and maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives, safety protocols, and continuing education.
Qualifications:
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
Completion of an accredited residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Valid medical license to practice in the state of employment.
Strong clinical judgment, procedural skills, and ability to manage acute inpatient OB-GYN cases.
Work Environment:
Inpatient hospital setting, including labor and delivery units, postpartum, and gynecologic floors.
