This position is for a Family Medicine Physician responsible for comprehensive patient care including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and collaboration with healthcare teams. The role serves a diverse patient population ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics, with a focus on managing a high elderly demographic. The physician will work a 5-day, 8-hour shift schedule with medical assistant support, providing care in a clinical setting under a variety of payer systems.

Salary Range: $239,000-$265,000 annually
Anticipated duration of assignment: As needed
Anticipated schedule: 5x8 Days

Daily Range of Responsibilities of the Family Medicine Physician:

Perform the initial assessment of the patient and actively participate in all aspects of patient care, including history and physical, diagnostic and therapeutic planning, procedures, writing orders, and interactions with family.
Payer mix - 35% Medicare, 15% Medicaid, 35% Commercial, balance is "other"
Age distribution - pediatric to geriatric, high elderly population in area
Patients per day - Average 20-24 for full day office visits
Tertiary Care/Transfer Facilities
Support Staffing
1 MA support

Qualifications for the Family Medicine Physician:

Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
Valid and unrestricted in-state medical license
Board certification
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based healthcare environment.
