- Strong clinical assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced, high-acuity emergency care environment
- Provide high-quality, compassionate emergency care to patients in the ER
- Assess, triage, and monitor patients with acute and emergent medical conditions
- Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions as ordered
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Document patient care and interventions accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Educate patients and families on care plans, procedures, and discharge instructions
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized clinical environment in the Emergency Department
