Here s what to expect: Position Details Location: Wisconsin (Near Abbotsford) Position Type: Locum Tenens (Temporary) Start Date: December 30, 2024 End Date: May 9, 2025 Schedule: Clinic hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, flexible days Call schedule includes 24-hour weekday call once a week and weekend call once per month (Friday 7:00 am - Monday 7:00 am) Setting: Outpatient with occasional call for nursery care and low-volume inpatient coverage Job Highlights Daily Patient Volume: Approximately 18 patients per shift Support Staff Provided: 1 RN and 1 Medical Assistant on-site 2 office staff members for administrative support Call Coverage: Primarily phone consults (6 per 24 hours) and nursery care with low anticipated patient volume Rounding: Both inpatient and outpatient services, with minimal inpatient admissions required Requirements License: Valid Wisconsin or Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) license Certifications: Board Certification in Family Medicine Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Preferred Skills: Experience in general family medicine, including well-woman care, IUD procedures, prenatal care, and newborn care.
