Travel Nursing Job Details

• Location: Louisville, KY 40202 (Kentucky healthcare jobs)
• Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse
• Start Date: November 10, 2025
• End Date: February 9, 2026
• Duration: 13-week contract
• Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM (12-hour days)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Call Requirements: Weekday call (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM), weekend call (Saturday 7:00 AM – Monday 7:00 AM), 1-2 weekends of call per 6-week schedule
• Unit: Cardiac Cath Lab (6 procedure rooms, 1:1 patient ratio)
• EMR: McKesson Cardiology & Cerner (online training available)

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Kentucky RN license (Registered Nurse jobs in Kentucky)
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience as a Cath Lab RN
• Experience with McKesson and Cerner preferred (online training available)
• Ability to float to EP Lab as needed
• Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment
• Structure heart, scrubbing, or monitoring experience preferred

Cath Lab RN Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and related procedures
• Monitor and assess patients before, during, and after procedures in a 1:1 clinical setting
• Operate and troubleshoot GE X-ray systems and other specialized cardiac equipment
• Document patient care using McKesson Cardiology and Cerner EMR systems
• Participate in on-call rotation, including nights and weekends as scheduled
• Collaborate with physicians, technologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Float to EP Lab as needed
• Maintain a professional and compassionate approach in a fast-paced, innovative healthcare environment
